Dunstable-based Sida Consultancy Ltd recently carried out the complete renovation of an area of communal and private gardens in the Noak Hill Road area of Billericay in Essex. This semi-rural area is much sought after for its excellent road links to the M25 and its location between the towns of Billericay and Basildon.
Sida Consultancy took delivery of 980 tonnes of British Sugar TOPSOIL’s BS8601:2013-compliant general purpose SubSoil, and 200 tonnes of its BS3882:2017-compliant Landscape20 topsoil. Both products were delivered to site on rigid tippers during the spring of 2021.
Following initial ground preparation, the free-draining SubSoil was laid to a depth of 700mm and consolidated.
Landscape20 sandy loam general purpose topsoil was then spread over the SubSoil to a depth of 300-400mm.
Both products have been designed by British Sugar TOPSOIL to perfectly complement each other, providing a balanced environment for planting, seeding and turfing.
